An overhead pumpback system is ideal when floor space is limited, or in a work cell where central chip and coolant processing would be more efficient. Each machine tool pumps a mixture of coolant and chips overhead to a remote filtration unit. Chips are removed and clean coolant pumped back to the machines.
The Viavent® System
Chips and coolant are automatically pumped through an overhead closed loop piping system. Advantages include:
